- Responsive Web Experience
A modernized digital platform and brand experience designed to translate technical trade authority into an accessible, high-conversion web presence for residential and commercial electrical services.
The Challenge
Home service platforms often suffer from confusing technical jargon and fragmented quote flows. The core UX challenge was organizing a multi-tier service taxonomy into an intuitive, low-friction inquiry funnel. Additionally, the platform required translating complex electrical diagnostics into clear, client-friendly language, building a seamless responsive layout for desktop and mobile, and maintaining strict brand consistency across all digital touchpoints to effectively capture and convert local customer leads.

Consultation & Ideation
The project began as a logo request, but I demonstrated the value of a cohesive identity, convincing the owner to expand the scope into a full brand design across print and digital touchpoints. While I developed the broader brand system, this case study focuses on the company website. I established a digital strategy centered on clear service discovery and intuitive navigation, transforming the platform into an effective, accessible lead-generation hub for local clients.

Wireframing & Prototyping
Transitioning from initial WordPress templates, I rebuilt the website in Figma and leveraged AI coding to test interactive ideas rapidly. To move visitors from building trust to booking quickly, I eliminated fluff in favor of high-impact clarity. The layout features scroll-triggered animations between sections, direct conversion buttons leading to a simplified contact form, and a persistent navigation CTA that reveals the company phone number on hover for immediate service calls.

Final Result
The resulting website delivers a clean, modern interface that eliminates jargon and accelerates service bookings through direct conversion paths. Upon reflection, a subsequent audit of Google reviews across Calgary trade companies revealed deeper customer patterns I wish I had applied sooner. Integrating those review-driven insights would have placed stronger emphasis on specific homeowner pain points and added valuable trust-building details across secondary sections, making the platform even more impactful.
